Workshops for your team.
Remote / On-site / Prices below
The arc the AI agents workshop follows: an agent that fails and lies about it, harnessed live until it does the job, without a single change to the prompt.
I'm Tejas Kumar, an AI Engineer at IBM and the best selling author of Fluent React (O'Reilly). I teach engineering teams the 2 things I work on every day: building AI agents that do their job reliably, and how React works inside.
Email me to book a workshopReliable AI agents in production
A hands-on workshop on agent harnesses: the tool registry, context management, guardrails, the agent loop and verification. We start from an agent that fails and lies about it, and harness it until it does the job without a single change to the prompt, the same arc as my talk Harnesses in AI at AI Engineer Europe 2026. Then we do it on the agents your team is building, with whatever models you use.
- Build an agent harness from first principles, from an empty loop to a verified result.
- Add guardrails, context compression and retries that hold whichever model sits underneath.
- Write deterministic verify steps so an agent fails honestly instead of claiming success.
- Move secrets and fragile steps out of the model and into the harness.
- Leave with a harness plan for your own agents.
- Remote, 1 day or 2 half days, up to 15 people€10,000
- On-site, 1 day, up to 20 people€14,000
- On-site, 2 days on your own codebase, up to 20 people€24,000
- Leadership briefing, remote half day, up to 20 people€6,000
- Each extra attendee€500 a day
React internals and Server Components for teams
The material from Fluent React, my O'Reilly book, taught to your team: JSX, the virtual DOM, reconciliation, concurrent React, server-side React, frameworks and React Server Components. Your team stops guessing why a component renders and starts making performance decisions from how React actually works.
- Understand reconciliation and rendering well enough to explain a re-render before opening the profiler.
- Use concurrent features on purpose rather than by accident.
- Decide what belongs on the server and what belongs on the client with Server Components.
- Apply the patterns to your own components, on your own codebase in the 2 day format.
- Remote, 1 day, up to 15 people€7,500
- Remote, 2 days, up to 15 people€13,500
- On-site, 1 day, up to 20 people€10,000
- On-site, 2 days, up to 20 people€18,000
- Each extra attendee€400 a day
What can be added to a workshop?
- A review of your codebase before the workshop, so the day uses your code€2,500
- 30 days of follow-up by email, plus 2 one hour office hours€2,000

How much does an AI agent workshop for my team cost?
A remote day for up to 15 people is €10,000, an on-site day for up to 20 people is €14,000, and 2 days on-site on your own codebase is €24,000. A remote half day briefing for engineering leaders is €6,000. Each person above the cap is €500 a day.
How much does React training for a team cost?
A remote day for up to 15 people is €7,500 and 2 remote days are €13,500. On-site, 1 day for up to 20 people is €10,000 and 2 days are €18,000. Each person above the cap is €400 a day.
Can the workshop use our own codebase?
Yes. The 2 day on-site formats are built for it, and the codebase review add-on makes a 1 day workshop use your code too.
Remote or on-site?
Both. I live in Berlin and travel for on-site workshops anywhere; travel is billed at cost. A remote day can run as 2 half days for teams across time zones.
Who teaches it?
I do, every time. I'm Tejas Kumar, an AI Engineer at IBM, the best selling author of Fluent React (O'Reilly) and a conference speaker who has given 80 recorded talks since 2012.
How do we book a workshop, and what are the terms?
Email me the dates you have in mind, the team size, remote or on-site, and what your team is building. Prices are net, plus VAT where it applies. A 50% deposit holds the date and the balance is invoiced after the workshop. Cancelling within 14 days of the date costs the full fee.
Send the dates, the team size, remote or on-site, and what your team is building, and you will get a straight yes or no.
